Medicare’s new GLP-1 weight-management program is now available.

Beginning July 1, eligible Medicare beneficiaries with Part D prescription coverage may be able to receive certain GLP-1 medications for $50 per month.

Covered medications currently include:
• Wegovy
• Zepbound KwikPen
• Foundayo tablets

How Can You Get Started?

Contact Your Doctor

Reach out to your primary care provider or healthcare team to start the conversation.

Ask If You Qualify

Find out if you qualify for coverage under the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program.

Get Your Prescription Sent

If appropriate, your provider sends the prescription directly to your pharmacy.

Provider Completes Authorization

If appropriate, your provider sends the prescription directly to your pharmacy.

Medicare Will Notify You

Medicare reviews the request and notifies you of the decision.
