By the end of September, you should receive your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) for your current Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan (MAPD) or Medicare Stand-Alone Prescription Drug Plan (PDP). This document outlines any changes to your plan for the upcoming year, including premiums, copays, and coverage.
Please take a few moments to review it carefully.
If you review your ANOC and are happy with the plan details for 2027, no further action is needed — your coverage will automatically continue, and you’ll receive your updated plan materials before the new year.
The 2027 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period runs from October 15 through December 7.
Independent agents, real neighbors. Jeff and Suzanne have helped thousands of seniors across Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati navigate Medicare coverage.
Your Initial Enrollment Period is a 7-month window around your 65th birthday — 3 months before, your birthday month, and 3 months after. Here are your main paths:
Parts A & B paired with a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) that covers what Original Medicare doesn't - deductibles, copays, & coinsurance. You can see any doctor who accepts Medicare, with no networks or referrals. Best if you want maximum flexibility in choosing your care.
An all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare from private insurers, often bundling drug, dental, vision, and hearing coverage. Premiums are often low or even $0, though you'll typically use a network of doctors. Best if you'd rather have a single plan with potential extra benefits.
Basic hospital & medical coverage paired with a standalone Part D prescription drug plan, often combined with a Supplement for fuller coverage. Part D plans vary in which drugs they cover & at what cost. The right one depends on your medication needs, which we'll review with you.
You may qualify for a Medicare Savings Program - a Kentucky or Ohio state program that can help pay your Part B premium, deductibles, and copayments. We can help you find out if you qualify.
Tell us about your doctors, prescriptions, and budget. We get to know your situation before we ever mention a plan.
As independent agents, we shop every carrier we represent and show you a clear side-by-side comparison — no bias toward any one plan.
Pick the plan that fits — and we handle the enrollment paperwork from start to finish. No pressure, & we're here for you every year after.
Real people, real coverage, real peace of mind. Here's what our clients across Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati have to say about working with MedMyWay.
If you have any questions or would like to review your options, please do not hesitate to contact your agent, Jeff or Suzanne. We are contracted with most insurance companies. We work for you, not the insurance company!
